This post involves working within a multi-disciplinary team providing primary care, but with a difference.
We are seeking a qualified experienced nurse or paramedic to work within an integrated healthcare model. The successful candidate will be an excellent team player who works closely with residents, the health care multidisciplinary team and the immigration service to ensure comprehensive care is provided to residents.
The successful candidate will undertake the role of the Quality lead within the immigration removal centre setting, We are looking to recruit an innovative Quality CareLead to drive the existing multi-disciplinary team currently in place.
Yarl's Wood IRC is an immigration removal centre with a total operational capacity of 476 residents. Yarl's Wood holds a majority of male IRC residents, a small unit for male short term holds and a new unit for up to 58 female IRC residents.
Previous experience of working in an immigration removal centre is especially desirable, but not essential. You will benefit from an extensive supernumerary period, access to a full range of training and be encouraged to develop your skills within this role.

Previous experience of working within the secure estate would be an advantage.
