Job summary
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, adaptable, forward thinking person who has a strong professional identity and experience working with children and young people in a wide range of community settings. This is an interested and varied OT role which offers a range of opportunities and experiences. We support children and young people from birth to school leaving age in their homes at school, clinic and within community based settings across Northamptonshire. We work in partnership with families, other health professionals and education professionals to maintain a holistic approach to the management of the child. We are a supportive and nurturing team who offer regular supervision.
Main duties of the job
- Complete holistic OT assessments and provide goal focussed intervention
- To modify and evaluate intervention using outcome measures
- To follow department and clinical guidelines
- Effectively manage a complex and integrated caseload
- Work in a range of settings across the County
- To complete a range of Standardised assessments as appropriate
- Working alongside team members and MDT
- Maintain CPD and learning opportunities
- To access and provide supervision
- Maintain accurate record keeping
