Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 2 Administration Assistant within our CYP ADHD/ASD team.

The post holder will provide a range of basic administration support with the Administration Team. If you are enthusiastic, with a 'can do' attitude within your working approach, then this is a great opportunity for you to join a welcoming and supportive team.

You will benefit from a comprehensive supervision and appraisal system, with a commitment to staff development.

Main duties of the job

  • To assist the Clinical Administrators / Senior Administrator in providing a wide range of clerical and administrative duties.
  • To assist with audio typing / proof reading letters and reports as directed.
  • To provide general office duties to include distributing incoming/outgoing mail, scanning and photocopying as required.
  • Answer telephone calls from patients and external organisations promptly and efficiently.
  • To book rooms as appropriate for clinics or meetings.
  • To support the maintenance and management of the office environment, including stationery provision.
  • Demonstrate tasks to new starters, including temporary staff, if required.
  • Reception cover on an adhoc basis
  • Any other duties as may be delegated.
