Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 3 Team Administrator to join an evolving and inclusive team to provide administrative support to Recovery College NHFT which delivers educational courses and workshops across the county. All courses are recovery based and focus on different aspects of mental health, neurodiversity and wellbeing.

The Team Administrator will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative services within this countywide service and will work with the team to maintain an effective office base in Campbell House. They will work alongside and provide administrative support to colleagues, students, service users, carers, practitioners, volunteers and external partners to ensure the successful running of the college and its courses. They must be flexible and use their initiative to organise their own workload dependent of the priorities and requirements at the time. Good organisational ability, strong IT skills and flexibility are required.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide full administrative, secretarial and clerical support, including compiling written reports and day to day management of Recovery College phone, email inbox, Recovery College calendar, social media accounts and general office duties.
  • Organise training venues and resources, including uploading course booking information to Eventbrite and in-house systems.
  • Support the Recovery College trainers to organise course materials and set up training rooms at venues across the county as and when required.
  • To meet and greet visitors, answer queries in person, via phone and email, and direct them to appropriate areas in line with the ethos of Recovery College NHFT and relay messages accurately and promptly.
  • Prepare statistics, reports and presentations as requested by team members.
  • To participate in management of student course evaluations, feedback and quality assurance information when required.
  • Maintain relevant personnel records for the team including payroll, sickness, and annual leave.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent English and Math's A-C or grade 4 and above
  • A Levels / NVQ level 3 or equivalent level of knowledge
  • Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
  • Previous admin experience (including minute taking, diary management and maintaining electronic records)

  • NVQ in business and administration or relevant experience
  • Experience of working within mental health setting
  • Experience of working within educational setting
