Job summary

Healthcare Assistant - Danetre inpatient unit, Danetre Hospital

Full and part time between 25 to 37.5 hours per week available

This is an exciting time for Northamptonshire Community Hospitals as we continue to widen our provision of care to enable care closer to home for patients. This includes providing step up and step down facilities to avoid acute hospital admissions and facilitate early discharge. Responding to patients with long-term conditions and rehabilitation needs.

Main duties of the job

We are currently recruiting additional Health Care Assistants to implement care interventions for patients under the supervision of a qualified practitioner, supporting patient focused goals and patient safety. You will contribute to the evaluations of care interventions and assessment of patient needs. We are seeking motivated individuals with good communication skills and willingness to learn and undertake further training.

At NHFT we are proud to offer you a Prepare to Care programme to help you transition into this new role. This includes generic skills and service specific skills to ensure a solid foundation on which to build your career. The Care Certificate will run in conjunction with the Prepare to Care Programme for those who have not already previously attained this qualification.
