Job summary
The Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Programme Management Office (NHFT PMO) is seeking to recruit (as an internal secondment opportunity or a fixed term contract) to the PMO Project Support role to support the development and delivery of projects across the Trust and beyond. This opportunity is available as the current post holder is seconded to cover maternity leave within the team.

Although the base is St Mary's Hospital, NHFT offers flexible working opportunities and the team operate a hybrid/blended working model which includes a mixture of working from home and from Trust site/s. All flexible working requests need to be discussed and agreed with the line manager. There will be the expectation to independently travel across NHFT sites.
Main duties of the job
The PMO focuses on delivering and supporting a range of key programmes and projects that contribute to the delivery of the Trust's Strategy and plans and works in partnership with operational and corporate teams to achieve positive programme and project outcomes that contribute to the provision of health services within the Trust, and the Integrated Care Board (ICB) and beyond.
The post holder will:
- Support elements of the day to day running of the PMO support function, ensuring the delivery of a high quality and professional service.
- Be responsible for supporting the delivery of a range of projects that the PMO are responsible for delivering and supporting
- With support, be responsible for developing and delivering some entry-level projects, resolving day-today problems independently
- Support the work of project boards/committees, as required, ensuring that meetings are planned and papers are collated in a timely manner to enable their presentation
- Be responsible for minutes/notes and action logs and other required documentation
- Work within agreed operational and governance process within the PMO and contribute to identifying and delivering opportunities for continual improvement
- Be required to adhere to multiple deadlines with priorities that could change on a regular basis. They will be required to use their initiative and autonomy to identify their own priorities
