Job summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised, motivated, and enthusiastic (Full-Time - 37.5 hours) individual to join the Chief Executive Officer's (CEO) administrative support team working across Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT) and Leicestershire Partnership Trust (LPT) through a group model. This arrangement which commenced in April 2021 has enabled us to work on a range of initiatives including staff programmes, quality improvement work, Together Against Racism, strategy planning and more. Whilst continuing to operate as separate organisations we have a unique and valuable opportunity to continue our strong relationship through an agreed formal way of working and with a joint CEO.

This is a key role for the organisations and requires a flexible individual who is able to manage competing demands, priorities and deadlines that change on a daily/regular basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering day-to-day administrative support, including diary and email management, to the CEO. The role will also support the co-ordination of Board, Committee and highlight reports, co-ordination of appraisal, supervision and training compliancy of the wider Executive Teams and ensure accurate data is held within the Trusts information systems.

Main duties of the job

They will have responsibility for the co-ordination and delivery of the teams' core business. The post holder will report to the Senior Business Manager and Project Administration Lead, working together to ensure the CEO receives the highest standard of administrative support, whilst ensuring all key deadlines are met and critical paths achieved. This includes complex diary management and the tracking multiple workstreams.

The post holder will frequently be the first point of contact for key stakeholders and patients so will have a high level of communication skills to ensure that a positive impression of the Trust is always maintained.

The post holder will support the co-ordination of Board, Committee and highlight reports as required, these are dependent on the work streams of the wider team. The post holder will co-ordinate appraisal, training and supervision compliance and ensure accurate data displayed on the trusts health systems such as ESR, e-Roster and EOL and provide support in any other HR related aspects for the CEO.

The post holder is required to act as the point of contact on behalf of the Chief Executive Officer, in their absence. Provide and receive contentious or sensitive information, which requires diplomacy and display persuasive and motivational skills to recognise, reflect and overcome barriers of understanding.
