Job summary
The main purpose of this role is to:
- Optimising opportunities for sharing intelligence gained from correlating data from patient experience, to inform service improvements.
- Leading on personalised care and birth choice options offered to women
- Explore the issues related to health inequalities within maternity and neonatal services, to better support these often-marginalised groups.
Main duties of the job
Contribute to the development of a maternity services strategy that maximises the positive experience of women and families at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust (SFT).
Ensure that service users are included in the co-production of services and that they can confidently make choices about their care to enable the monitoring and enhancement of the patient experience.
Work and liaise with the Maternity and Neonatal Voices partnership (MNVP) and Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS) to coproduce services which reflect the feedback from women and enhance personalisation of the service and shared decision making.
