Job summary
As an advanced OH Specialist nurse you will be an outstanding leader and able to provide senior clinical input, support, guidance, and advice to the OHA multidisciplinary team within the Occupational Health department. Ability to work collaboratively with the Head of Occupational Health and other stakeholders.
You will be responsible for the learning and development of the OHA team within the department with a strong focus of undertaking comprehensive OH assessments and delivering an evidence based, impartial high-quality report to the employer/manager.
This position will also require the candidate to deputise for the Head of Occupational Health to cover any periods of leave.
Main duties of the job
You will be working with the Head of OH to support the team. You will be required to undertake more complex case management with access to HOD and OHP as required. There will be case conferences or general absence meetings to support our HR colleagues.
Auditing and training will be an integral part of this role ensuring that a high quality of service is delivered through compassionate, impartial, and effective case management.
You will liaise with senior management teams to represent the Occupational Health department and any appropriately delegated meetings eg IPCC, outbreaks, flu and wellbeing for example.
The post holder will work closely with the Head of Health and Wellbeing and will need to be aligned with the management and leadership of the department as well as embrace the current and future vision of the Occupational Health service delivery for the health and wellbeing of all our staff in the Trust.
Compliance with all national legislation and guidance in relation to documentation including NMC, IG etc.
You will work with key stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
