Job summary
A core member of the Coach House team, in a role that works across Coach House andTransformation, you will work closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues at all levels todrive sustainable continuous improvement throughout the organisation to improve theservices at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust.You will be responsible for:o Delivering prepared training packages, coaching teams and supporting staff as partof the Trust Improving Together roadmap as well as delivering a suite of bespokeand planned identified training to teams as required.o Supporting the development, roll out and delivery of Rapid Improvement Events(RIE's) working in collaboration with the Head of Transformation Resourcing andHead of Coach House/Continuous improvement.o The day-to-day management of one or more staff, as required.You will:o Have responsibility to deliver own results, including planning, and developing anddelivering all assigned tasks to the required deadlines.o Receive guidance from the Head of Coach House and Continuous Improvement andpeers who are experienced in the Improving Together roll out.
o Develop the necessary skills and experience in the Improving Together approachand concept through provided training.o Facilitate training to specific teams, along with continued advice and support inmoving forward.o Work across transformation and coach house teams, providing improvementresource capability to transformation programmes/projects as required by the Headof Transformation Resourcing.
Main duties of the job
Assist clinical and operational leadership teams in building an engaged workforcethat utilises all Trust staff to drive results towards organisational goals.o Support the delivery of occasionally complex messages, some of which may becontentious within the delivery context. There may be major barriers to acceptance,as this will lead to different ways of working.o Establish effective collaborative working relationships with internal and externalclinical and non-clinical staff.o Regularly interact with colleagues across the organisation in progressing agreedimprovement activity.o Role model best practice behaviour for safety, quality, improvement and all Trustpolicy compliance.
Analytical and judgement skillso Support the development of standard operating procedures/standard workapproaches for workstreams (training, improvement systems and projects).o Supports teams, through when required, to develop new policy and guidance for thatservice, facilitating working groups as required.
Planning and Organisational skillso Contribute to the co-ordination of the planning for events, working closely with teamsto ensure appropriate participation and support.o Support the Head of Coach House and Continuous Improvement on aspects ofservice development and opportunity within the Coach House as the team andprogramme develops.o Ensuring oversight of project deadlines, milestones and where these are at risk,ensure timely escalation.
