Digital Support Floorwalker

Job summary
Salisbury Foundation Trust is currently preparing for digital transformation in adult inpatient areas, via the e-Discharge project (part of the Lorenzo EPR Enhancements Programme) within the Trust's electronic patient record (EPR), Lorenzo. We are currently looking for Digital Support Floorwalkers that can provide support to clinical staff during the rollout of this functionality. Floorwalkers will be required to spend time on live adult inpatient wards at the hospital and assist clinical staff with any questions or issues relating to the changes introduced under the project.
We are looking for motivated individuals with the following skills and experience:
- Customer service experience
- Good interpersonal skills
- Problem solving skills
- Patient & understanding when providing support
- An interest in software and / or gaining experience in a healthcare setting
Main duties of the job
- Attend designated wards during e-Discharge rollout as per the established floorwalker shift pattern and rollout schedule (07:00 - 15:00 or 15:00 - 23:00)
- Conduct regular walkarounds on relevant ward to actively seek out potential issues and support opportunities
- Respond to queries from clinical staff appropriately and in a timely manner
- Keep record of issues arising that are not already accounted for in troubleshooting guides
- Regular reporting with e-Discharge Project Team members during handover periods, covering unresolved issues that need to be picked up in subsequent shifts
- Light-touch training of clinical staff in new processes- this could apply to staff that missed training or that need a refresher
