Job summary
Main Purpose of the Job
An exciting opportunity is available to support the lead role in delivering a sustained reduction in the rate of falls among in- patients as well as an associated reduction in their level of harm across the Trust.
The role will provide specialist advice, teaching and guidance for the clinical areas and act as a resource for evidence-based knowledge to enable appropriate and timely identification, assessment, treatment and management for those who have fallen or are at risk of falling.
The post holder will promote a culture of enhancing independence, maintaining or improving functional ability and encouraging an ethos of embracing risk to enable patient choice. The post holder will place an emphasis on promoting mobility, movement and strength amongst our patients and work with multidisciplinary team members.

Delivery of education to MDT
Recording data and reviewing trends
Liaising with other disciplines
Assess clinical areas
Comprehensive analysis and investigation on patient falls and assist with action plans and recommendations
