Job summary

The PACS team here at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is looking for a Clinical Imaging Application Specialist to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop and enhance the knowledge of Radiology systems including PACS and RIS.

The successful candidate needs to be able to work well under pressure with a high level of accuracy. You will be able to work using your own initiative as well as part of a team. Attention to detail is essential and you will be using systems such as Sectra PACS, Magentus CRIS, AMS, HOH, Dragon VR and occasional use of Lorenzo.

Main duties of the job

To complete daily transfers and requests of imaging.

Undertaking request for images from patients either by CD or electronic transfer.

Create RIS accounts and amend PACS permissions.

Daily housekeeping tasks within RIS and PACS.

Problem solve user issues with various systems (including PACS/RIS/IEP/VR).

Provide occasional project support.
