Job summary
Applications are invited for a full time post commencing 6th September 2023 for a Trust Grade/Locum Dental Core Trainee (DCT) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust, for a period of 12 months.
Completion of BDS or equivalent is a requirement for this Trust post. All applicants must be registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) or eligible for relevant visa application.
We hope to hold interviews in the first week of August 2023.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for a dynamic, keen clinician to join the Oral, OMF Surgery and Orthodontic teams and broaden their clinical experience. The post includes on call at a 1 in 4 frequency for OMFS weekdays at Salisbury District Hospital until 9pm and weekends at Southampton. The unit provides a comprehensive range of services including oral surgery, orthodontics, cleft, implant rehabilitation, orthognathic surgery and maxillofacial surgery, with the exception of major head and neck oncology.
