Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an individual to join their Allied Health Professions clinical leads team as a dedicated equipment lead for Adult Community Services, in collaboration with the BOB Integrated Care Board .

This role involves providing clinical leadership and management of the Oxford Health part of the Integrated Community Equipment Service (Adults) ensuring that equipment is prescribed with a sustainable, efficient and evidence-based approach.

The successful candidate will collaborate with clinical teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure equipment needs are met and implement quality assurance processes to maintain high standards of safety and performance. We are looking for an experienced clinician with proven experience in equipment management, strong organizational and leadership skills, and a commitment to improving patient care.

Main duties of the job

  • Lead the Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) for Oxford Health, ensuring safe and effective processes for equipment delivery to patients
  • Provide expert advice on equipment provision for adult patients across the Trust.
  • Transform systems and processes for efficient equipment supply
  • Collaborate with system partners to monitor and manage the ICES contract.
  • Provide clinical leadership to prescribers and authorisers.
  • Support authorisers and ensure consistent equipment provision.
