Job summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Administration Manager to provide leadership, coordination and operational oversight of the administrative function within our Children's Community Nursing (CCN) Service.

This is a key role supporting the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of care to children and families across Oxfordshire. You will lead and manage a team of Band 3 administrators, oversee referral and caseload systems, ensure high standards of data quality and information governance, and act as the first point of escalation for administrative and workflow issues within the service.

This role is going through job evaluation and so some duties may change.

Main duties of the job

What you'll be responsible for

  • Line management, supervision and development of the Band 3 administrative team
  • Coordinating and prioritising daily administrative workloads across the service
  • Oversight of referrals, caseloads, clinics and discharge administration
  • Monitoring workflows, identifying risks or capacity pressures and escalating appropriately
  • Ensuring high standards of data quality, record keeping and GDPR compliance
  • Supporting recruitment, workforce administration and business continuity planning
  • Overseeing administrative processes for equipment ordering and stock control
  • Acting as a key point of contact for families, professionals and partner agencies
  • Supporting audit activity, reporting and service improvement work
  • Representing the administrative function at meetings as required
