Job summary
We are looking for a highly motivated part-time Receptionist/Administrator for our CAMHS services in High Wycombe (Saffron House), working Wednesday - Friday 10am - 6pm.
Before applying please note that we are unable to change the days and working hours of this role. This arrangement is what is required to meet the needs of our service.
Please note this role is part-time working 22.5 hours per week.

To assist with reception and telephonist duties under the general direction of the Office Manager, ensuring that a professional, efficient and cost-effective service is provided to staff, visitors, partnership organisations and the public at all times.

Job responsibilities
- To assist with reception and telephonist duties under the general direction of the Office Manager, ensuring that a professional, efficient and cost-effective service is provided to staff, visitors, partnership organisations and the public at all times.
- Receive all visitors to the CAMHS and Eating Disorder Service as the first point of contact/reception, in a courteous and helpful manner, providing appropriate information as required and signposting to the relevant team/staff.
- Receive calls to the Service as the main contact number. This will include transfer of callers appropriately following correct procedures in accordance with Trust policies.
- Be required to have excellent communication skills and present a calm and reassuring manner.To maintain the visitors log,
- Book meeting rooms as required using the electronic room booking system ensuring it is always kept up to date.
- Provide postal services for the trust including signing and recording of mail. Sorting, redirecting and distribution of mail across the Service
- Document and inform staff of any deliveries to the building.
- Undertake training in new skills required for the departments effective operation and to maintain those skills in line with supervision and appraisal.
- Ensure strict confidentiality is maintained at all times in relation to the safekeeping of all information held within the Service and comply with Trust confidentiality policies.
- Exercise due diligence in maintaining the security of self and other building users by managing access systems such as pass cards and requests for trust ID badges.
- Assist with the operation of Trust emergency systems such as fire alarms check and evacuation practice.
- Co-ordinate the general running of the office environment including checking of daily room set up, end of day security, displays and general upkeep of the building.
- Be familiar with and facilitate requests to facilities/ Estates regarding the building and to process these requests to completion.
- As required and as directed, the postholder will provide general administrative support to the CAMHS service, which could include scanning, photocopying, typing letters, maintaining databases, phoningpatients and making patient bookings.
- Undertake other reasonable duties in accordance with the needs of the service and appropriate to the scope of the role.
