Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mental Health Information Analyst to join our Mental Health Service Development and Planning Team. This is a pivotal role working across Oxfordshire, BaNES, Swindon and Wiltshire at the heart of transformation, where high-quality analysis meets purpose-driven service improvement. You'll work alongside clinicians, operational colleagues, commissioners and system partners to turn complex data into compelling insight that shapes decisions, supports change and improves outcomes for people who use mental health services.
This is more than a technical analyst role -- it's about storytelling with data, influencing change, and helping design services that work better for people and communities.
Main duties of the job
As a Mental Health Information Analyst, you will:
- Provide insightful, proactive and responsive analysis to support colleagues deliver service development, transformation and planning across mental health services.
- Work onhigh-impact priorities such as service redesign, performance improvement, demand and capacity modelling, business cases and policy-driven change.
- Bring together data from multiple sources -- local, national, health, public health and social care -- to build a clear picture of need, performance and opportunity.
- Translate complex analysis into clear, meaningful narratives that inform decision-making at all levels, from frontline teams to senior leaders.
- Play a key role in measuring the impact of change, helping services understand what's working, what isn't, and why.
You'll be embedded within a collaborative, forward-thinking team delivering change across adult and children's mental health services and will work closely with partners across the wider health and care system, including Integrated Care Boards, provider collaboratives, NHS England and the voluntary sector.
