We are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse Associate to join our multi-disciplinary inpatient team at Highfield Unit, Oxford. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse associate with experience working in the care setting who are looking to build their skillset and grow their knowledge further.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, resourceful and caring, they should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. They will need to demonstrate a good awareness of mental health.
Main duties of the job
- Engage proactively with young people and their families/carers/significant others to build positive working alliances.
- Participate in the monitoring of young people's mental health, physical health and wellbeing, includingescalation of interventions when necessary and using physical health skills and obtaining specimens, as directed.
- Assist with the implementation and monitoring of clinical care and monitor outcomes.
- Contribute to and interpret care plans and risk assessments accurately and consistently.
- Work to develop effective multidisciplinary relationships through skilled communication with the wardand community teams.
- Assist in specific therapeutic relations to meet the physical, emotional and psychological, social, culturaland spiritual needs of individuals and carers.
