Job summary

The Buckinghamshire Perinatal Mental Health Team is seeking a highly organised, empathetic, and self-motivated part-time Team Administrator to join our award-winning team.

The Buckinghamshire Perinatal Mental Health Team is a specialist community mental health service committed to delivering quality care. We provide a countywide service in Buckinghamshire, supporting mothers and babies to maintain and promote good mental health throughout pregnancy and the first postpartum year.

Please note this role is part-time working 14.63 hours per week.

Main duties of the job

Main duties of the job

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the team by managing various administrative tasks and offering secretarial assistance to support the delivery of quality care.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records, manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, and handle telephone calls efficiently to support team communication.
  • Prepare and type letters and reports, ensure clinical data is accurately updated, and manage the processing of referrals and discharges to maintain seamless patient care.
  • Support data quality initiatives by using databases and spreadsheets to ensure accurate and reliable data management.
  • Manage the ordering of stationery and supplies.
  • Carry out a range of general administrative tasks as directed by the management team to support the overall functioning of the team
