Main duties of the job
Your Impactful Day-to-Day
- On-Site Leadership: Conduct regular inspections, monitoring trade staffing levels and site progress against the master programme.
- Safety Stewardship: Maintain the highest safety standards by issuing Permits to Work and auditing contractor safety systems.
- Problem Solving: Identify new risks, contribute to the Project Risk Register, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on track.
Who You Are
- Experienced & Qualified: You hold a relevant construction or engineering qualification (like an ONC/OND) and have a background in site project management.
- Safety-Minded: You have an IOSH in safety management and a rock-solid understanding of construction regulations.
- An Expert Communicator: You can distill complex technical data into clear reports for various audiences, from professional bodies to the public.
- Adaptable: You thrive under pressure, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Financial Integrity: Help keep projects on budget by verifying contractor invoices and extra-work instructions..
