This is a pivotal role where you will act as an Estates Ambassador ensuring our healthcare environments are safe, well-maintained, and capable of supporting world-class clinical care.
Who You Are
We are looking for a motivated leader who thrives under pressure and possesses excellent emotional intelligence.
- Qualifications: A Degree/HNC in a building-related, electrical, or mechanical services subject
- Certifications: IOSH H&S certification and membership in a relevant professional body.
- Experience: Significant experience as a senior manager within an estates department or similar complex environment.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex data and present it to diverse audiences.
- Flexibility: Ability to travel independently between sites and participate in a 24/7 on-call rota

Main duties of the job
Some of the main responsibilities are:
- Internal Communications

- Delivery of all operational Estate's services
- Staff Management and Development

Key duties include:
- Ensure that reactive maintenance works are undertaken to a safe, high quality and a timely manner.
- Responsible for the maintenance budget within their hub ensuring works carried out in a costeffective way, following SFI's and within allocated budget.
- Ensure that remedial works identified by ppm/compliance/mandatory checks and tests are undertaken to a suitable standard and in a timely manner.
- Ensure that the Trust's workforce have sufficient training to fulfil the roles and responsibilitiesrequired of them.
- Collection and recording of quality data to ensure that the departments performance reporting isaccurate and to a good quality.
- Undertaking of regular audits and reviews to ensure that the estate is maintained in a safe andsuitable condition, and issues and risks are identified.
