In our BSW (Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire) Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services we are proud to be developing a needs led, responsive and accessible service based on the i-Thrive model.

We are looking for an experienced RMN, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist who would be interested in this role as a full time Specialist Clinician for the Crisis and Home Treatment Service (CAHTS) in Marlborough.

You will be located in the well established and compassionate Marlborough CAMHS team , this is a multi-disciplinary team and we pride ourselves on the service we provide you young people and their families, staff wellbeing and development opportunities.

There is scope for you to build into this role, options of clinical sessions working in: our CAMHS eating disorder service; our neurodevelopmental assessment clinic; our family therapy clinic; our DBT service; our short term therapeutic interventions pathway; or our longer term MDT interventions pathway.

Main duties of the job

The post will include professional and practice development and ensuring high quality client-centered care is delivered as part of the multi-disciplinary CAMHS crisis and home treatment service for Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire

  • To take a leading role in the development of evidence based services and specialist programs for the care group
  • To provide an assessment and treatment process for referred patients in collaboration with professional colleagues and clinical services in order to enable continuity of care
  • To develop care pathways and sign post young people to appropriate mental health services
  • To provide consultation, advice and training to support partnership agencies.
