Job summary
An opportunity has arisen within the Children's Integrated Therapy Service for an experienced Team Administrator to join our friendly team. You will provide support to the Children's Speech & Language Therapy Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and HEF Dietetic teams.
The role is full time and will be based at Murray House, Jordan Hill Business Park, Oxford although there may be some opportunities for home working. Hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
This is a busy department and the role will involve a variety of tasks including supporting the speech & language team booking appointments, managing clinics, and data quality. You will also be adding referrals using the electronic patient record, dealing with telephone and email enquiries.
You should therefore have good written and verbal communication skills and accurate keyboard skills. Strong IT skills are essential and you should be confident using Microsoft Office packages. You should have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload. In addition, the ability to work with limited supervision will be necessary.
You will be working with other members of the Children's Therapy Admin team, clinical staff and parents and families, responding to any enquiries in a professional manner and always providing an excellent level of customer service.
We can offer training to help you develop further and excellent supervision and support.
Main duties of the job
- Managing clinic bookings for speech & language therapy:
- contacting patients via Accurx
- monitoring Accurx for patient responses
- booking appointments
- sending correspondence
- discharging referrals

Provide high-quality administrative support to the team, including managing emails, records, and office systems.

Maintain accurate data, carry out quality checks, and update online systems.
- Support monitoring of waiting lists and data quality issues.

Order and monitor supplies, ensuring resources are available when needed.

Liaise with colleagues and external professionals, and travel to local sites as required
