Job summary
Are you looking for a role where you can make a real difference to the lives of young people with an eating disorder?
We are looking for a full-time Senior Mental Health Practitioner - you may be a Nurse, Occupational Therapist or Social Worker who has experience in working with eating disorders - to come and join our specialist eating disorder team at Swindon Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS).
Swindon CAMHS is a multidisciplinary team; we are passionate about providing evidenced based care to young people and their families in the community, working in partnership with other agencies.
Your role will be within The Eating Disorders Service (TEDS), supporting young people and families/carers with eating disorders in the community.
We are a highly supportive team, committed to your supervision and development; there's a wide range of development available and you would have access to a full range of internal and external training opportunities to enhance your existing skills and develop new ones. For example, we can offer training around CBT-E / FT-AN.
Although you'd be based within TEDS, we'll offer you liaison and duty responsibilities so you can continue to work with children and young people with a variety of mental health conditions.
