We're looking for an administrator to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team and support our clinicians and families every day.

In this role, you'll be the friendly face welcoming patients and visitors, keeping important records up to date, and helping the team stay organised and on track. Your work behind the scenes will be vital in making sure everything runs smoothly and patients get the support they need.

You don't need to be an expert, but being confident with Microsoft Office and comfortable handling enquiries with care will help you thrive. Most importantly, you'll understand the need for confidentiality and kindness in this role.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide general administrative support to the CAMHS team, including typing letters, updating records, and managing supplies.
  • Welcome patients and visitors with a polite and professional reception service when required.
  • Support meetings by arranging schedules, taking notes or minutes, and distributing documents as needed.
  • Respond to emails, phone calls, and written enquiries in a confidential, sensitive, and efficient manner.
  • Use various software systems to maintain accurate clinical data and ensure patient records are kept up to date.
