Are you a Clinical Psychologist, with experience working in Eating Disorders, who is seeking a new challenge?

We are delighted to be recruiting to a part time Clinical Psychologist role within the Wiltshire Community Eating Disorder team (WCEDS).

WCEDS are a multidisciplinary team, which includes Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Dieticians, Family Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Support Workers and Administrators.

We work with adults (over 18) and with young people who are approaching their 18th birthday and likely to require support or treatment into adulthood.

We offer a range of specialist psychological interventions including CBT-E, CBT-T, SSCM and MANTRA which are delivered on an individual level. We also have a full specialist group programme which is developed from evidence-based interventions.

Our specialist eating disorders team is focused on continuous quality improvement and innovation. We pride ourselves on working flexibly and collaboratively, focusing on addressing individual patients' needs.

The successful candidates will join our team providing specialist psychological assessments, formulations and therapy services to users with Eating Disorders that have been referred to the Team.

They will play a key role within the multi-disciplinary team and support the delivery of the Group Programme as well as provide advice, consultation and supervision to other team members.

Main duties of the job

  • Conduct specialist psychological assessments for adults with eating disorders.
  • Formulate and deliver evidence-based therapies, primarily Enhanced CBT and CBT-10, and contribute to other approaches (e.g., DBT, MANTRA, systemic).
  • Manage an allocated caseload, including risk assessment and management.
  • Make informed decisions about treatment options considering complex psychological needs.
  • Model healthy eating behaviours and maintain high standards of clinical record keeping
