The successful candidate will join a dedicated staff group providing assessment and evidence-based treatment interventions to a wide range people in Abingdon and surrounding areas.
This role is open to registered mental health nurses who have extensive experience of working in adult mental health services and understand the challenges that this care group can bring. You will be supported by an experienced leadership team from across the professions who facilitate forums for Nursing and hold your development as central. We offer regular supervision and you will be encouraged and supported to undertake any training relevant to your professional development.
We use the principles of a Flexible Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) model of healthcare. We have incorporated FACT into the daily functioning of the team; which enables us to be focused on the recovery of the patient through a multidisciplinary (MDT) approach; with expertise from doctors, social workers, nurses, occupational therapists, support workers and psychological therapies staff.
We have daily MDT meetings, where we discuss clinical matters within our supportive team. We strive to provide person centred evidence based care to patients, where possible working collaboratively with their families and carer.
