Meadow Unit, our new CAMHS PICU ( Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for Children and Adolescents) at the Warneford Hospital Site are looking to recruit a full time Activity Coordinator to join our team.

This is a brand new opportunity to be involved in the development of the new CAMHS PICU service here in Oxford.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, positive and engaging to work alongside our patients in this role. We are a friendly, supportive, and proactive team where you will receive regular supervision as well as plenty of opportunities to develop your skills. We are also able to consider flexible working arrangements; get in touch to discuss these further.

Please note that this role attracts an additional allowance of £1475 per annum/pro-rata on top of the salary offered.

Main duties of the job

This role will involve working a 7-day shift pattern supporting the nursing team, occupational therapy team and wider MDT, however there will be no night shifts required.

You will work collaboratively in the planning, development and provision of a range of therapeutic, wellbeing and social activities for the young people on the Meadow Unit, as appropriate to service user need and within the established service guidelines.
