Are you an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapist, Registered Mental Health Nurse, or Social Worker who is an experienced team leader?
The Buckinghamshire Primary Care Mental Health Hub is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join us as our Team Manager.
As the Team Manager, you will provide operational leadership to our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality mental health services across Buckinghamshire. Your leadership will help shape innovative and person-centred approaches, supporting people to achieve their mental health goals.
In addition to operational leadership responsibilities, the role includes a clinical component and experience of delivering psychoeducational interventions and facilitating group work is essential. This position offers an excellent chance to develop your skills in operational leadership, while maintaining involvement in hands-on clinical work and making a real difference to service users.
The successful candidate will have:
- Significant post-qualification experience in mental health settings, ideally with some experience in primary care or community environments.
- Proven leadership or management experience, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to person-centred, recovery-focused care.
- The ability to work collaboratively across professional boundaries and with a range of stakeholders
Main duties of the job
- Lead and manage a diverse team of mental health professionals, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, effective, and evidence-based care in line with national and local guidelines.
- Work closely with GPs, primary care staff, and partner agencies to ensure seamless, integrated care for service users.
- Monitor performance, clinical standards, and service quality, driving continuous improvement.
- Provide supervision, mentorship, and professional development for team members.
- Oversee service delivery, staffing, and resource management within the Hub.
- Provide psychoeducational interventions in group settings.
- Conduct clinical assessments as required, ensuring that care plans are tailored to individual needs and informed by best practice.
The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
