We're looking for a committed and compassionate individual to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health team in Swindon, as part of the management team, as Deputy Team Manager on a full time basis. This opportunity involves providing a minimum of one day per week cover for our Liaison service at the local acute hospital, clinical supervision to other clinical team members, attending key meetings to discuss young people's care with professionals outside of CAMHS, deputising for the Clinical Team Manager in their absence, as well as holding a small caseload.
Covering the Swindon area, you'll be based at the Swindon Community CAMHS site ad will part of an exceptional team of professionals delivering quality interventions based around the I-Thrive model.

Main duties of the job
- Support the liaison acute hospital service at least one day per week.
- Undertake a lead role for children and young people open to the team, working collaboratively with young people, their families, key workers, and the wider care team to provide effective support.
- Provide skilled assessment, treatment, and consultation, delivering evidence-based, time-limited interventions.
- Support clinical leadership by providing supervision, advice, and guidance to team members and contributing to service development and team objectives.
- Deputise for the Clinical Team Manager as required, ensuring smooth operational management and maintaining high standards of care delivery.
The post holder will be required to participate in a flexible working pattern within the multi-disciplinary team to provide cover for a core day 8am-8pm Monday-Friday and 10am-6pm Saturday -Sunday and Bank Holidays. The service will in time move to providing 8am to 8pm working 7 days a week. The post holder will also participate in covering the service's 24 hour on call service on a rota basis.
