Consultant Mental Health Practitioner-Liaison

The closing date is 08 October 2025

Job summary

Join Us in Transforming CAMHS Liaison Services Across BSW (Bath, Swindon and Wiltshire)

We've secured 12 months of fixed-term funding to expand the CAMHS Liaison Service across BaNES, Swindon, and Wiltshire (BSW). This includes increasing provision at the three District General Hospitals: Royal United Hospital (Bath), Great Western Hospital (Swindon), and Salisbury District Hospital.

We're building a new clinical leadership team--featuring a Consultant Psychiatrist and a Consultant Mental Health Practitioner--to oversee expanded multidisciplinary teams (Bands 7, 6, and 4) at each hospital. Staffing will grow from 2-3 to 6 per site during this pilot phase.

We're looking for an experienced CAMHS professional with the vision and clinical expertise to help shape a sustainable, high-quality model of care--and support our bid for long-term funding.

Be part of something impactful. Help shape the future of CAMHS in BSW.
