Job summary
Are you a Graduate Psychologist with the drive to join an experienced and highly motivated CAMHS Eating Disorder Service (TEDS) to deliver responsive and effective services?
We have a full-time vacancy in our CAMHS Eating Disorder Service (TEDS); this post will be based in Melksham Community TEDS and the post holder will be employed by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust. Melksham TEDS is based in Melksham Community Hospital.
You will be working 37.5 hours a week and part of an experienced multi-disciplinary eating disorders team inputting into clinical pathway developments, delivering high quality care and working alongside highly experienced colleagues including Psychologists, Family Therapists, Senior Mental Health Practitioners, Support Workers and Consultant Psychiatrists.
You will be a motivated individual with an undergraduate degree in psychology (2:1), who can work in a team and who is passionate about the health and wellbeing of Children and Young People who experience Eating Disorders.

Main duties of the job
You will be contributing to the assessment and treatment of Children and Young People who have Eating Disorders, using a wide range of skills and methods. There will be opportunity for individual therapeutic work, group work, supporting family-based treatment, and audit and research under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist. There will be opportunity to receive training in evidence-based eating disorder treatments, such CBT-T, and join established supervision groups across BSW. We have close links with the University of Bath Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and you will work alongside Trainees as part of the multi-disciplinary team.
Due to the varied nature of the job no two days will be the same, so adaptability, problem solving skills and a desire to make a difference are all vital for this role. The working week will cover clinics in base, as well as work in the community and liaison with our acute hospital colleagues. High quality clinical, managerial, professional and peer supervision and CPD is available in a variety of formats.
