The Adult Mental Health Team (AMHT) are looking for a new Deputy Team Manager and Clinical Lead. This is a crucial role providing clinical leadership, managerial and supervision and working as a role model, within a supportive, close knit multi-disciplinary team . Long term there ispossible progression, and training & development will be provided for the successful candidate.

This is an excellent part time opportunity (30 hours a week) for an RMN with strong clinical and management experience, seeking a new challenge or the next step in their career!

Main duties of the job

1. To lead a specialist team focused on the principles of recovery as part of the North & West AMHT. To assess, plan and implement intervention specific to the needs of individual or groups of patients and their carers.

2. Provide day to day leadership and clinical oversight for all identified service users open to the specialist team.

3. Develop a working operational policy for the specialist team founded upon the principles of the FACT model of health care.

4. Act as a role model to deliver high quality focused interventions, supporting all stakeholders involved with the client group to archive positive clinical outcomes.

5. Develop a series of teaching sessions that can be delivered to all stakeholders focused on providing high quality mental health and social care input.

6. Develop collaborative working relationships with key stakeholders co-designing service improvements.

7. Take an active leadership role on all incidents including safeguarding and ensure that learning is disseminated.

8. Undertake highly complex assessments, including the assessment of risk, identify needs and develop care plans in partnership with patients and carers based on evidence-based practice.
