The Oxfordshire Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team (CRHTT) is expanding, and we're seeking four Registered Nurses to join us as Crisis Clinicians on a full time basis.
With significant new investment, we're launching a CRHTT to provide high-quality mental health crisis care across Oxfordshire--this is your opportunity to be part of something innovative.
Help shape and establish our service, delivering intensive, personalised care in service users' homes. You'll work within a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team, making a real difference to the lives of individuals and their families.
This is your chance to influence the future of mental health care in Oxfordshire. Our teams collaborate with patients, communities and partners to provide compassionate care across prevention, crisis, and specialist services.

Applications are welcome from experienced RMNs and Preceptorship RMNs keen to develop skills in crisis assessment, intervention, and home treatment.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidates will have excellent clinical assessment and risk management skills and be able to work flexibly and dynamically in challenging and changing circumstances.
The responsibilities of the role include:
- Assessment and Risk ManagementConduct initial assessments, triage referrals, and manage risk during acute mental health crises, escalating concerns where appropriate. Actively engage with safeguarding processes to prevent harm.
- Care Planning and DeliveryDevelop, implement, and evaluate treatment plans using psycho-social interventions, working collaboratively with service users, carers, and families within the CRHT model and CPA framework.
- Collaboration and CommunicationMaintain effective communication and joint working with internal teams, referrers, and external agencies (e.g., Primary Care, Social Services, Criminal Justice) to ensure cohesive care and support.
- Transition and Discharge PlanningMonitor service user progress, report to relevant care teams, and coordinate timely transfer or discharge to appropriate services (e.g., AMHT, CMHT, Primary Care).
- Professional Development and Service ImprovementMaintain high standards through supervision, mandatory training, and continuous professional development. Contribute to service improvements aligned with local and national changes.
