We will be the lead service provider for a National Multisite Randomised Control Trial (RCT) investigating the effect of Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT) for children and adolescents where there is concern about violence and aggression and they are referred to Community Forensic CAMHS. This is an amazing opportunity to be involved in this important trial, collaborating with colleagues across England and with University College London and the University of Hertfordshire.

This is a cohort of children that have traditionally not been offered talking therapy and this trial will be a national first large-scale investigation to see if talking therapy can help these children reduce the risk of violence and aggression.

As our Contracts and Project Manager,you'll be overseeing the full life cycle of this project including development, implementation, stakeholder engagement, progress monitoring, collating feedback and reporting.

Main duties of the job

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for helping to coordinate and manage this project from the near start to completion. Your role will involve:

  • Developing and implementing detailed project plans, ensuring all milestones are met
  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and incorporate feedback, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Monitoring project progress and adjusting as needed to ensure successful delivery.
  • Developing and delivering project reports and presentations
  • Support senior managers and clinicians across the national project by providing planning and project management support as required for the delivery of key results.
