Improvement Officer – Research and Engagement

Job summary

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic research and engagement expert to join the Oxford Healthcare Improvement (OHI) team at Oxford Health.

As our Improvement Officer you'll work closely with colleagues in quality improvement (QI) and clinical audit to support projects and deliver training across the organisation. You'll be encouraging the effective use of research and data in improvement work and will also play a pivotal part in planning and delivering an engagement strategy for the team.

This is key role with great opportunities for development. We are looking for someone with analytical skills and fresh ideas about how we communicate with staff, service users, and other stakeholders. Main duties of the job

  • Act as a researcher for improvement within the OHI team, providing advice and support on the effective use of research and data analysis to colleagues and project teams.
  • Offer training sessions on research and research methodologies.
  • Work with the OHI team to plan and deliver an engagement strategy and facilitate engagement activities
  • Oversee the creation and management of OHI intranet, internet, and social media content.
  • Support a QI Hub and provide guidance, coaching and support to improvement projects
