Are you an Occupational Therapist, Registered Mental Health Nurse, or Social Worker who enjoys providing high-quality, holistic care to people who need mental health support? Are you skilled at comprehensive individual assessments? Are you looking for an opportunity to also deliver group interventions?
We are recruiting a Mental Health Hub Clinician to be part of a developingPrimary Care Mental Health hub to support GP practices with Mental Health assessment and support for patients in their communities.
You'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions to adults with serious mental illness. With a focus on partnership approaches, you'll collaborate with various stakeholders to provide holistic care. We seek motivated individuals eager to engage in training across multiple therapy modalities, signposting, and psychoeducation.
You will be based within the Buckinghamshire Primary Care Mental Health team, working across the county with a base at either our Aylesbury or High Wycombe site.
Main duties of the job
- Experience in Mental Health Assessments: Clinicians should have experience in completing mental health assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions in community settings.
- Passion for Partnership Approaches: Candidates should be passionate about partnership approaches to care for adults living with serious mental illness.
- Motivated for Training: Individuals should be motivated to engage in training to deliver evidence-based interventions across various therapy modalities, signposting, and psychoeducation.
- Innovative Mindset: The roles require innovative individuals who can help achieve the vision for cross-sector integrated pathways.
- Improving Access to Mental Health Support: Clinicians should aim to remove existing barriers to deliver better access to dedicated mental health support in local, non-stigmatised community settings.
The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
