We are delighted at the prospect of recruiting a Duty Lead to join our supportive and innovative Getting Help / Getting More Help team in the Buckinghamshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. This is part of Buckinghamshire-wide mental health and well-being service which is designed to provide young people with expert help from one easy access point and is and run by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Main duties of the job
- To support and enhance the clinical care of patients and their parents/carer whilst they are on a treatment specific pathway.
- Offer timely liaison with both internal and external partners, families signposting opportunities to support recovery, and parent & carers psychoeducational sessions to improve understanding.
- To work directly with children, young people and families to ensure that they are well engaged in their CAMHS service offer.
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that offers a whole systems approach to the short- and long-term management of mental illness that works across the whole CAMH service.
- Manage and lead a small team of support workers within the service.
