Job summary
We are recruiting for a self-motivated individual to join the Performance and Information team as our Information Analyst.
The Performance and Information team supports clinical and business decision making across our Trust using data analytics presented in meaningful and interactive ways. The team provide historical and current views of important Trust operations and utilise analytical expertise to provide actionable insight into key areas. The team help to improve patient care, provide clarity to operation managers, influence best practice, data quality and aid overall understanding of a wealth of Trust data.

Main duties of the job
The primary role of the Information Analyst will be to provide analytical support as part of thePerformance and Information Team. You'll produce routine and ad hoc reports in an accurate, clear, and timely manner and will provide advice and guidance on the output of analysis.
You'll work closely with operational services, assist with training and support for the Trust's self-service reporting platforms as well as translating reporting requirements and information between key stakeholders including colleagues in the IM&T team.
You'll play a key role in supporting the development and design of local data capture processes and tools to support operational, and business needs as required.

- Appropriately manage collected data and ensure all data is kept and shared in accordance with all relevant governance requirements
- Use innovation to build databases and tools where required or where helpful to support information provision
- Validate and quality assure data and deal with statistical/analytical queries, e.g. investigating data anomalies and identifying any corrective action required
- Maintain productive working relations with clinical, operational, and corporate colleagues at all levels of the organisation
- Provide advice on data and information as well as and interpret and present complex and sensitive information
- Communicate analytical/statistical information to non-analytical/statistical colleagues at all levels of the Trust, advising on statistical techniques used
- Present data in such a way that the information is accessible for use by a wide range of internal and external sources without expert knowledge
- Maintain standard operating procedures within the team as well as guides in support of standard and accurate data collection processes
- Support with any training required to support understanding, interpretation or use of the trusts key reporting platforms

- Support and actively participate in any meetings with key stakeholders regarding information and performance
