Job summary
Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding role where you will be part of a new busy and supportive team within Adult Mental Health Services in Buckinghamshire?
The post holder will provide administrative support to the service that launched in January 2023; Buckinghamshire Adult Mental Health Gateway Service.
The service provides a streamlined, central access for all Adult Mental Health referrals from Primary Care and other professionals, a clinical comprehensive triage before passing the referral onto specialist Mental Health Services for assessment. Bucks Adult Gateway will also provide Community Navigation to patients accessing the voluntary sector and pharmacy and clinical advice directly to GPs.

Main duties of the job
To provide an efficient, high quality, confidential administrative and secretarial service to the Bucks Adult Mental Health Gateway Team, working to ensure the smooth running of the secretarial and administration provision. To administer an electronic client information system.
The post holder will provide administrative support to the Buckinghamshire Adult Mental Health Gateway Service.
Following, extensive consultation with Trust staff, GPs, patients and patients, the Bucks Adult Mental Health Gateway was created and launched in January 2023.
The role will include day-to-day organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the office, post management. monitoring of inboxes, inputting referrals and other clerical duties. Additionally, the post holder will facilitate good communication and liaison with patients and their families, colleagues within the Trust and across other organisations. The post holder will also be responsible for maintaining databases by collecting and inputting of data relating to Team activity and reporting information as necessary.
