Job summary

An exciting new role has emerged within the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team.

Are you a Medicines Management Technician or an experienced Pharmacy Technician seeking a new challenge in a Mental Health medicines management role?

We seek a self-motivated and enthusiastic registered Pharmacy Technician to join our amiable team across the City, North, and West of Oxfordshire.

This patient-facing role is part of a new team, with the backing of an established pharmacy team.

It's an excellent opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician eager to aid in the management and rehabilitation of individuals with mental health disorders.

An induction will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into the role, along with support to familiarise with the specialist medications used in mental health.

Main duties of the job

The role involves providing Medicines Management support to the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team to optimise the outcomes from medications. Responsibilities include conducting medicines reconciliation, planning discharges, ensuring Medicines Safety and Incident Reporting, participating in audits, and maintaining compliance with the Mental Health Act's medication-related requirements.

The Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team is supportive, progressive, and amiable, taking pride in the quality of care they deliver.

In this multi-disciplinary and cohesive team, you will have the opportunity to access resources and further develop this novel role.
