Floater Housekeeper

Job summary

An opportunity has arisen to join our team of housekeepers, working as a floater across all of the wards at Littlemore Mental Health Centre providing a safe clean environment for patients and staff.

We require friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join a highly motivated, dedicated team of Housekeepers across the Trust as part of our Mental health wards.

If you have a proven track record of being able to deliver a high-quality cleaning and cook chill service, this could be the role for you and we want to hear from you!

Main duties of the job

Successful candidates need to be team players who are flexible and reliable, with good interpersonal and communication skills.

This posts involves working alternative weekends, as well as a combination of 7am-3pm and 11am-7pm shifts, being flexible, whereby weekend and banks holidays are paid at an enhanced rate.

This post also requires you to undertake food service directly to the patients, so an understanding of food hygiene standards is desired but not essential as training will be provided.
