Job summary

We are looking for an individual to cover one years secondment, with rostering experience within the NHS who will enjoy working with our front-line teams. The successful candidate will support teams who are using Allocate Health Roster, the Trust's E-Rostering system to effectively manage and roster staff, enhancing the provision of high quality and efficient care. The individual will support the Trust to achieve Level 4 of NHSI/E's E-Rostering Levels of Attainment and Meaningful Use Standards.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join the HR Systems Team and will coach and influence operational teams, to develop and change their rostering practices in line with Trust policies and procedures. You will provide ongoing rostering support and training to teams that are already using the E-Rostering system. This will include responding to requests for support, reviewing roster set ups, undertaking audits, and working with teams to improve rostering fairness, efficiency, and performance.

The ideal candidate will have previous rostering and systems experience and have worked within an NHS environment. The role requires the post holder to have good attention to detail, have a professional, flexible, and responsive approach and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
