Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced registered Mental Health Nurse, who enjoys working with Older Adults and wants to make a difference in the services we provide. We want you to join our senior leadership team to support our staff and patients.
Our team is experienced, has a stable cohort of staff who are friendly, fun and have the patient at the centre of everything they do.
We provide a range of services including Mental Health Assessment and treatment, Enhanced Duty Response and Step up care. Moving away from working as Care Co ordinators we want Clinicians to provide interventional based care. We benefit from having a specific Social Care team working alongside us.
We want someone who is enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about supporting staff and providing the best possible care to our patients. You will have the skills to develop your supervisees and create a safe supportive environment for learning.
Main duties of the job
As Deputy Team Manager you will be a leader and provide Line management and supervision to junior clinicians. Working as part of the Senior Leadership team you will support the Team Manager with Service development and we offer training opportunities to help you grow and master skills.
We take pride in working with people with our patients and so we want you to have a caring and committed attitude with a strong understanding of the needs of older adults with a variety of mental health needs. Older Adult Community Mental health team work is demanding, complex and diverse but we are a small, cohesive team who are committed to supporting each other and we enjoy what we do!
