Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join the OXON/ BSW Mental health service development team .

This role will work closely with our service leads and clinicians to deliver and implement specific pieces of work relating to service improvement within the OBSW Mental health directorate .

The Project Manager will need to have effective communication skills to work across the system and facilitate progress with key stakeholders. Enthusiastic about improving patient care the role needs to have the ability to work flexibly across our services in mental health and our corporate services.

Main duties of the job

The purpose of the role is to provide flexible and high quality project management for the Mental Health programmes (programmes may vary over time). The post holder will lead on specific pieces of work and responsibilities related to service development and will include:

  • Set up and delivery of specific discrete projects within the overall programme to achieve the strategic objectives of the mental health directorates
  • Project management; developing and owning a suite of project management documents including but not limited to project briefs, project plans, risk and issue logs, and ensuring projects are delivered in line with OHFT project management framework.
  • Actively engaging, influencing and working collaboratively with colleagues and partners to deliver projects, including coordinating and leading complex activities
  • Completing work and undertaking analysis to support project delivery.
  • Monitoring project delivery and developing update reports for a variety of project groups, ICB and Boards; including monthly performance reporting.
