Job summary
To have the responsibility for the overarching management and coordination across the Trust of the various components of the Registration Authority (RA) Framework and responsible for access to national NHS secure systems ensuring information is protected from unauthorised disclosure.
The RA Manager provides professional input into the planning, development, and evaluation of registration authority services, holding responsibility for defined projects as delegated by the Head of Clinical Systems. The post holder will demonstrate highly specialist knowledge and skills and have undertaken appropriate training.

Main duties of the job
Responsible for the day to day management of nominated staff within the RA Framework.
To be responsible for the standard of work within the RA Team supporting the delivery of agreed projects and process on time, working within recognised project planning.
Work closely with teams across the organisation to formally agree and maintain a structure of RA contacts Trust wide. To manage devolved RA nominated staff across the Trust.

Responsible for the communication of results of audit on a wide range of issues across various systems to internal and external groups. This includes ESR-CIS interface, EHR and data portal systems. Responsible for guiding teams on courses of action to be taken to agreed timelines where review of and changes to process(es) are required to maintain confidentiality of Trust data ensuring its protected from unauthorised disclosure.
To communicate across the organisation RA standard operating processes including developing, training and maintaining an organisation wide group of trained RA staff across the Trust to meet the organisations RA requirements.
To communicate all NHS Digital information to RA contacts including service issues of delivery of NHS Digital Care Identity Service (CIS)platform ensuring all nominated RA staff are fully briefed where non-availability of CIS may impact delivery of care across Trust.
To represent the Trust at national RA events with NHS Digital.
