Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to work as a Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychologist in a role supporting Service Users in custody.
The post holder will work in the Integrated Mental Health Team, offering assessment of service users needs and a range of interventions in a one-to-one and groups settings.
This post attracts a yearly RSU allowance of £1446 per annum.
Main duties of the job
Contribution to care provision of Service Users by providing consultation to the multidisciplinary team and ongoing support to create and implement care and treatment plans
Undertaking psychological assessment, including neuro-psychological assessment where appropriate.
Delivering individual and group psychological interventions, where appropriate.
Evaluating the effectiveness of individual and group interventions.

To provide ad hoc advice and guidance to colleagues in Oxford Health forensic services and implementing treatment goals, and care plans for prisoners with psychological care needs.
To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of local policies and procedures. To exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the establishment.
In completing duties, draws upon on advanced level specialist knowledge, commensurate with a doctoral degree in clinical psychology, forensic psychology or counselling psychology, eligibility for registration as a chartered psychologist and further post qualification specialist training, supervision and experience.

- Must be a registered Practitioner Psychologist with the HCPC.
