We provide a cross county network of services across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire for people who have severe emotional or mental health difficulties sometimes described as 'personality disorder' or 'complex needs'.
Main duties of the job
This post offers the opportunity to gain experience in working in a psychotherapeutic service offering intensive group work within a Therapeutic Community and other psychological models of treatment.
The Complex Needs Team is dynamic and motivated to provide psychotherapeutic group work to those diagnosable with personality disorder in a thoughtful and compassionate way with the patient at the centre of their own care.
The team have regular team meetings and clinical supervision to maintain a cohesive working relationship and sense of belongingness.

- Carrying out psychological assessment and formulation, risk assessment and development of crisis plans
- Work along side colleagues to deliver psychotherapeutic groups in line with the service model
- Work flexibly with other CNS team members across the two counties to deliver the service in partnership with stakeholders
- Participate in training and support for colleagues and trainees
- Carry out and cooperate in audit and service related research
- Contribute to the planning and continued delivery of a developing service
- Utilise theory, evidence-based literature and research to support evidence based practice
