The Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Team in Oxford Health have recently been awarded a national Quality Kite Mark and we're looking to recruit a Data Quality and Performance Officer! This is a crucial role supporting the employment team with data and performance analysis.
Consistent, high quality, timely and comprehensive information underpins sound decision making at every level in the NHS and contributes to the improvement of both health care and organisational efficiency, so the monitoring and data analysis you will be undertaking in this role will be essential in the successful running of the department.

Main duties of the job
The core function of this post is to provide assurance to the Operational Service Manager on the completeness and quality of data being used in the production of performance reports by leading in the identification and resolution of data quality issues. This will require collaborative working across the Trust and support and contribute to the improvement of data quality within the IPS Service.
We'll need you to work to your own initiative to identify and resolve data quality and other issues and to ensure internal and external reporting and contract deadlines are met.

Job responsibilities
- Working with the Service manager and Team Leaders to ensure timely, accurate and reliable information for performance reporting.
- Responsible for investigating and resolving issues and queries. Investigating anomalies identified during analysis, identifying, and implementing actions required and assessing robustness of data
- Have a high level of competency of the Trusts patient administration system a champion of the clinical systems (Rio and EMIS) supporting on the production, analysis, monitoring and dissemination of data quality reports of the clinical systems . Including embedding the standard operating procedure of the clinical system in the employment team
- Support the Operational Service Manager and Team Leaders in the production of performance reports for internal and external audiences
- Develop report specifications to support performance reporting, data quality and monitoring
- Responsible for data collection and analysis to support service delivery. Preparing reports and updates; ensuring that complex and detailed information is presented in a clear and concise manner for a broad spectrum of recipients up to and including board level.
- Provide advice and guidance to staff to ensure accuracy, timeliness and completeness of data input is maintained and improved upon, and to ensure a greater understanding of the need for good data quality. Demonstrate where data is not accurate and the impact this has on activity and performance reports
- Respond to urgent unscheduled queries/requests from a variety of sources including and up to Board level
- Identify trends or anomalies, taking initiative to resolve queries and identify the cause Produce and validate national and statutory returns to NHS England and other organisation ensuring all statutory deadlines are achieved.
- Assist the team with the booking and keeping a record of external training
- Assist in the ordering of equipment in the Team and keeping records
- Attend and constructively contribute to meetings as required by the Service manager or team leaders.
- Provide general support across various directorates and departments, as required.
- Operate Microsoft Office suit of applications at an expert level.
- Manage the WFMS Health Roster and run reports, as required.
